Why We’re Different

Better Veterinary Care Is Built One Thoughtful Moment at a Time.

  • 01A warm welcome.
  • 02Easy conversation.
  • 03Someone who listens.
  • 04Respect for your pet’s comfort.
  • 05Reaching out, just to check in.

These moments, woven together over time, are what make the biggest difference.

They’re what it means to care — and that is why We Vet Better.

Built Better

Independent Ownership Isn’t a Matter of Business. It’s a Matter of Medicine.

Healing Haven was built on the belief that veterinary medicine isn’t just a job but a profession — one that requires trust from pet owners and carries an equally profound responsibility.

As an independent, family-owned practice, we don’t answer to a remote owner or corporate shareholder. We answer to you.

Our recommendations are always tailored to your pet, never dictated by a predetermined policy or protocol.

Meet Our Founder

Dr. Chrysa Dunser

Founder & Medical Director

After witnessing the changes in the veterinary field, Dr. Dunser recognized a growing need for more personal, thoughtful, and connected care. She envisioned a practice where relationships are built before recommendations are made, care is collaborative and clearly explained, and every pet is treated as an individual.

Today, every conversation begins with listening, every treatment option is discussed, and every decision is made with compassion, intention, and respect for you and your pet.

Low-Stress Nail Care with D.O.G Nails

Overgrown nails can be painful and limit a pet’s mobility, much like wearing shoes that are too small or do not fit properly.

Because traditional nail trimming can create uncomfortable pressure and anxiety, D.O.G Nails uses a rapid, low-stress Dremel technique that works for pets of all breeds and sizes, as well as all nail types. Bring them in, and you’ll see how nail care should be!

This gentle, innovative approach reflects Healing Haven’s philosophy and is why we are proud to partner with D.O.G Nails.
